- For the Toshiba Portege M400 Laptop: Now, you don't even need to open your computer or involve a drive enclosure to install a SATA hard drive! Supporting 3.5" and 2.5" SATA hard drives, this innovative device allows you to simply "plug" the drive into the dock which connects to the host computer using an available USB 2.0 connection, instead of having to connect or enclose the drive.

This SATA HDD dock allows you to plug any 2.5 or 3.5 inch SATA I and SATA II interfaced hard drive to your computer via USB port.
The "One Button Backup" function is the best solution for users to easily backup data from two or three SATA hard drives without open your PC.

Instruction:
1. For off-line "One Button Backup"
1-1 Insert source drive to SATA-A and insert target drive to SATA-B or SATA-C.
1-2 Plug the power adapter and turn on the docking.
1-3 Push the red button in the center of the docking. Reading light will be on. The clone starts.
1-4 After the signal light off, the clone finishe.
2. For connect SATA drive to PC via USB port
2-1 Install the driver in the CD coming with
2-2 Plug the SATA drive and connect the docking with PC
2-3 Begin to use the device.
