Keep in mind that this is the 90W so it is probably larger than the one that originally came with your unit. It will also run the port replicator if you have one. Although you can use this as a travel adaptor, it is a little bulky so better suited as a desk adaptor. I have two batteries on my laptop and my lower watt travel adator would get very hot. This one does not. The unit seems to be well built.

i ordered this adaptor over a month ago and it works great! it was about $15 cheaper than the official Dell charger, and I am very happy I went with the lower cost option. The charger is slightly larger than the official one, but I don't ever really notice.

The charger was a great deal. It arrived very quickly, it works fine, and was much cheaper a charger purchased from Dell. It's a little bulkier than the original Dell charger, but otherwise, it's great.
