The laptop lock keeps others out of your personal business. The steel cable ensures that it will not get broken into or cut. You will have a sense of security when you leave your computer.

It does what says and works without any problem. I like it because I purchased 2 other cables from eBay and both of them were not compatible... I am glad this fits my macbook pro perfectly...
