BJ . 06 Apr, 2012 I am very happy with the battery pack. It does what it claims about charging my iPad, both iPad1 and iPad 3. For the price I am very happy to have it handy for charging any of my batter powered gadgets, iPhone4 or iPads. And it holds it's charge nicely as well if I'm not using it right away to recharge something else it doesn't run it self down without me knowing it. I highly recommend this to anyone on the go. The many charging options (different plugs) it comes with should cover most any other phone or pad if not also the handheld games out there.

Derek . 07 Apr, 2012 The value for the money is here! I also happen to own a 8400mah backup battery, which has a somewhat usable LED lamp integrated as well. Compared to that, this seems to be less dense - it feels like they could have made the battery pack smaller with the same amount of energy. Its actually surprisingly light. Unlike the 8400mah pack, both 5000maH packs contained apple 20pin connectors as well as micro and mini usb. DOWNSIDE - charges with mini usb rather than micro, which means yet another cable. Most devices these days are either micro or 20pin apple so that part is annoying when traveling. You will want to buy your own cables to bring with the device, the interchangeable plugs are problematic for getting lost.
